Founding Partner, 500 LABS


Selcuk is a founding partner at 500 LABS, a startup studio that builds new companies. He is an alumnus of YCombinator, an Endeavor entrepreneur and a Fulbright scholar. Most recently, he co-founded Boostable. Based in San Francisco and funded by notable Silicon Valley investors like YCombinator, SVAngel and 500 Startups, Boostable helped online marketplaces offer digital marketing services to their sellers. Boostable was acquired by Metric Collective. Before Boostable, he founded SocialWire (later renamed Manifest) that helped some of the largest retailers in the US automate their products ads on Facebook, Google and Pinterest. Funded by First Round Capital, SofttechVC and 500 Startups, Manifest was a recipient of Facebook’s innovation awards in 2013. Manifest was acquired by Rakuten Marketing. He was recognized by Endeavor as a global high impact entrepreneur ( and was the recipient of an innovation award from the World Bank ( He is also co-founder of a non-profit called Nomadic Mentors that connects top mentors in Silicon Valley with emerging tech hubs around the world. He frequently speaks, advises and consults on topics including tech startups, advertising technology, online marketplaces and personalization.
